Is this resume builder really free?

Where is my data stored?

Only in your browser (localStorage) on this device. Nothing is uploaded to a server. Clearing your browser data or pressing Clear removes it.

Should I use a CV or a resume?

Use "resume" for the US, Canada and Australia and "CV" for the UK, Ireland, Europe, India and the Gulf. The builder switches the terms, section names and paper size when you choose a country.

Can I add a photo?

Only for countries where photos are common or optional (UAE/GCC, parts of Europe, India). For the US, UK, Canada and Australia the photo field is hidden, because employers there don't expect one.

Is the PDF ATS-friendly?

Yes. The layout is a single column with standard headings and real text (not an image), which applicant tracking systems read reliably.
